Spiritual direction, or accompaniment, is a ministry in the church concerned with facilitating a person’s growth in intimacy with God which leads, as a consequence to right relationship to all things. The ministry has a long and revered history in the Christian tradition and has been practiced by lay people, vowed religious and clergy.
We seek to help each other develop healthy, meaningful and flourishing relationships and life-giving, practical 'rules of life'.
Spiritual accompaniment is a growing strength of the Milton Anglican and St Francis College communities. The St Francis College Spiritual Direction Formation Program and experienced 'soul friends' are available.
