Caring for our Environment

As a parish community of the Anglican Church Southern Queensland, we are committed to working towards fulfilling the fifth mark of mission of the diocese, “to strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the Earth”.

The Sustainability Roadmap of the ACSQ sets a vision to actively participate in the flourishing of God’s creation by working deliberately, urgently, creatively to limit and reduce human-induced warming and the resultant effects of climate change. Details of the Sustainability Roadmap can be found here.

Dr Clyde Anderson, a member of our Milton Anglican community, has developed a series of workshops to help us identify ways we can all make small changes that will have a positive impact on the care of our environment. Dr Anderson is Executive Director of Anderson Energy Efficiency, an accredited NatHERS Thermal and Existing Home Assessor and an accredited Residential Efficiency Scorecard Assessor.

Upcoming workshops: details on our Events page.
